Yeeeees, the question everyone is dying to know. Of course! BYOB or BYOW but please know, liquor is not and will not be accepted under any circumstances.

When can I “Light the Vibe”?

Your candle will require a cool down period of 2-4 hours, depending on the size. In most cases, you will have to return the next day to pick up your new candle or we can ship it for $12. Once you pick up your candle, we ask that you allow it to rest and cure for at least 7 to guarantee optimal performance.

Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours prior to your event. If you must change or modify an appointment less than 48 hours prior to your event, please call us directly at 910.238.2017

Candle Care

* When lighting a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the container. This should take around 2-3 hours.

**Failure to do this will often cause "tunneling" which will limit the life of your new soy candle**

*Soy wax does not burn as hot as paraffin wax (think big box store candles) so soy wax candles require a thicker wick and needs to be trimmed prior to each burn.

*Trim your wick to about 1/4"before you re-light your candle. This will ensure a long lasting candle, minimize soot and remove any mushrooming of carbon on the end of the wick.

*Extinguish your candle by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straighten. This will stop the wick smoking and will help with re-lighting.

*Please remember VSL Candle Studio Candles and Wax Crumbles are hand poured in small batches and are not massed produced to ensure consistency and quality control.

*When using completely natural soy wax, the top of your candle may also appear slightly uneven, this is also a sign of natural soy wax being hand poured.

Should a performance issues arise, please do not hesitate to contact us for troubleshooting.

Wax Melt Care

To use your wax melts you will need a wax warmer. I recommend using a wax warmer that is specifically designed for wax melts as other types of warmers or burners can cause the fragrance to burn too quickly or be dangerous. Whichever warmer you decide to use please read and follow all instructions properly prior to use.

*Use only in warmers approved for wax melts.

*Keep out of reach of children and pets.

 *NOT edible.

 1. DO NO EAT!

2. Do not leave unattended or in reach of children or pets.

3. Do not add water to your warmer.
4. Do not place your warmer on/near flammable items or surfaces.
5. You can reuse your wax melt until the scent has dissipated.

Using Fresh Wax.

Once you're finished using your wax melts or the scent has dissipated, you can wait until the wax has cooled and scrape the wax from your warmer or turn it off and while it is still in liquid form, place a paper towel or cotton ball in the wax to soak it up. Do not discard your used wax down the sink/drain as it can clog your drains.

To clean your warmer, you can refer to the instructions that came with your warmer. Make sure it is clean and dry before using a new wax melt.
